VolunteerGeneral
Wayne Randall of Munford. He took the Cougars from worst to first this year in region 7 4A.
lovehsfootball
Benny Monroe at Ooltewah without a doubt. This is a very young team and was supposed to be a rebuilding year. They are undeafeated and the winner of Region 2 5a.

Guest dare_2_dream
David Watson, Siegel. He helped out a lot of coaches by giving them wins, and isnt that what a good coach does? Contribute to other's success?

VolunteerGeneral
I see lots of names on here, but no reasons to back it up.
ut18vols
John Offutt of Springfield In three previous year building up to this great season he has had a combined 7-23 record. This year the team is senior dominated and it shows. They might play a weak schedule but any other the year they play a tough one, siegel is down this year. Hunters Lane is decent, Beech they lost a few heartbreakers. There record look bad but they are good teams, our region 6-4A reminds me of the SEC and how each team will beat each other on any giving friday. Rossview beat Mt Juliet, but Mt Juliet beats Kenwood. It crazy how each team is beating each other, while Springfield and Clarksville sit atop waiting to week 10 to decide the region title. If Coach Offutt can win out and get a playoff win or two(they will have to face region 5-4A opponets who we all know are good(Hillsboro, Maplewood, or Stratford) If he can get a victory or two there, there is no reason why he cant get coach of the year. He has took this program from no playoffs to already a spot in playoffs. They are undeafeated to this point. I will defend Springfield anyday, if you disagree with there 'weak' schedule, cause they play there hearts out every friday and they deserve recognition. I am not saying they dont get recognition but all those critics out there saying, they play nobody, well they deserve congratulations, for the work they done this season. Go Yellow Jackets
