Vince Young is looking better every week and Travis Henry finally looks like the old Travis Henry!!

Back to Back games with over 100 yards rushing!!

Usually a good formula for winning. Have to be able to pass the ball though, just running wont do. Vince looked pretty good today.

I agree you need to be able top pass, but if you can run the ball in the NFL like Tennessee has done the last two weeks, you at least give yourself a chance..They controlled the ball most of the game...It also doesn't put all the pressure on Young to have to make a play....If they can continue to run the ball they will at least be competitive..I didn't think they would be able to rush the ball today against Washington like they did...It will make for a better bye week at least...

If they can continue to run like that, they will be in every game with a chance to win. They need a go to WR, someone Vince has confidence in, in order to be able to win close games. The WR core isnt that bad but someone needs to step up and say I want to be the guy who wants the ball in clutch time situations.

Trade Brown and get what????? 7th round pick???? Maybe they could trade him for some cleats, a towel and a Cooler of Gatorade. The Gatorade might be a bit too much to ask for though.

I was thinking more along the lines of a fan or two, so the attendance would go up.

    • A lot of people don’t realize how valuable JMO was. QB, safety, punter and holder on pat’s. Kid did it all. I fully believe if he was healthy Dburg would have made it to the ship last year.
    • If Dyersburg quarterback who is also starting safety hadn’t got hurt it would of another blowout
    • For perspective the county school I’m associated and graduated from only has 7,600 people in the entire county with a median age of roughly 47. That’s not very many 14-18 year olds to choose from. I think the football team had 25-28 kids or around there.  On the other hand Shelby County has 916,000+ with a median age of 36. This isn’t just about Shelby county, but all the big ones with huge economic advantages!  An urban/rural split would benefit tons of smaller schools that have to compete with counties with 120x the amount of people. Especially the ones who can pick and choose their players from a pool like that!   I also agree with Pujo about charter and magnets and they will eventually be phased into the private divisions because it is obviously an advantage plus all the funding! Add that county schools can’t go recruit outside of their county like charters and magnets!
    • They should be starting next week and go from there.  They never do Spring Practice in April
