Actually, if you want to go by the same rankings that your talking about, then south pitt wasn't the man. They were the second man, i believe that your saying should be "to be the understudy you gotta beat the understudy"

Hampton i had some respect for and then adam got hurt and they appear to be trying to pull it all together and regroup. all of the respect i have for marco pleasant is for well marco. I say mr. football either this year or next. But for marco pleasant as a team, i have no respect when all they are counting on is one player. He gets hurt, they are lucky to make the playoffs.

Well I'm glad you have respect for Marco at least. All I can ask for is a chance to earn your respect as a team. Who knows maybe we will get it. I'm not going to say what we can do or not do without Marco but I will say that we have scored points without him running the ball and without him being in the game. Very few games has he been in at the end. So the scrubbs are doing ok in my opinion. Your wrong about the playoffs. We are a playoff team without him. The team works extra hard when he is in there because he trys so hard and they want to support him that much more. It's called being a winner and leading the team. He is both a winner and a leader.

But if somehow FCS and Marco pleasant play each other then i can make a hopefully different oppinion. The oppinion i have now is based on you playing ezell and them beating you pretty soundly and then FCS playing ezell, and beating them pretty soundly.

Well maybe you have reason to feel as you do but Ezell didn't beat us soundly. They came back and beat us at the end of the game, after we were up by 10. We had one returning starter from last years O and D line and were in the process of finding who really wanted the positions. That's why we didn't have such a good start at the beginning of the year. We didn't have the luxury of having 2 a days because in our county school had begun. We could only practice about 2.5 hrs a day where other areas were practicing 2 to 3 hrs two times a day. MP's playoff aspirations don't hinge on Marco they hinge on the line play. Hopefully our line will be healthy when it counts.
