Best running back in 1A? Man that's easy. Chas Scruggs from Lookout Valley. That boy is fast!!! He's already over 1500 yards rushing and averaging 200 rushing yards a game with two games still to play.

402yds and 6 TDs against Pigeon Forge

 

Finished the regular season with 1700+ yds and 30+TDs

 

But he is from a small school in east TN outside of the relm of Knoxville and Kingsport so he probably wont have a chance.

When healthy, it definately has to be adam townsend from hampton. This guy was having a monster year until he got hurt. He scored in every game in his first 2-3 carries, he was top 15 or 20 nationally in YPC. Unbelievable.

Chad Jordan from Bruceton has got to be the best. he has already accumulated 2098 yards. he averages at least 209.8 yards a game with nineteen touchdowns on the season.

I believe he said 1A. Claiborne is a 3A school. Mr. Helton won't be scoring too often this week at Fulton either

Good post but Marco Dailey from Mt Pleasant was the first to get 1000 yds this season. 5 games and first qtr of the 6th game he had 1000 yds.

 

Marco has 133 carries for 1923 yds & 31 TD. He is averaging 14.46 yds per carry & his TD average 40.01 yds.

 

Marco is also a Junior.
