Demario Williams,Culleoka,Carter Mcmasters,Grace,and Seth Skogen,Temple will be the candidates.Guys that should get some recognition are MJ Brown,Union City,Derrick Sain, Humboldt,Demarcus Patrick who will have one of the top 3,if not the top,scoring averages in single A ball this year,and Channin Geanes, Lake Co,who is one of the top underrated juniors in the state.Demario will win it.

I agree w/ u here...Geanes has the chance to put up some scary numbers...I also think Springer can put himself up with the names mentioned..A long season ahead though, you never know who will step up

McMasters- Grace

Skogen- Temple

Williams- Culleoka

Sain- Humbolt

??????- Lake Co. ....forgot his name, he is good though

 

McMasters will probably win it two years in a row.....He will have great averages in points, rebonds, and blocks....he will lead his team back to the boro, they will not win this year either. Statewide teams look pretty even except for in the far east were there is hardly ever any true talent...2nd in the voting will probably go to Skogen....family name, great ball player, not quite the talent McMasters has....Plus for Skogen, Temple will beat Grace....3rd will probably be Williams from Culleoka.

I was highly impressed with Carter last year in the State Tournament. Is he a Junior this year?

 

The scary thing about him, is that he could grow some more. Most tall kids like that have no coordination but he does. and great hands. Plus he has a range of 18+ shooting.

 

I am on the western side of the state but I will def keep my eye on him.

 

Any info on what schools are keying on him?

Wake Forest, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, and Clemson are the big ones right now. Kentucky has been around and every SEC school has shown interest. Right now I think Tennessee and Clemson are the frontrunners, but he has plenty of time to decide what is best for him. Carter has some very good people around him and Im sure he will make the best choice.

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
