Elizabethton has scrimmages next week at Sullivan South and Sullivan Central, wednesday and thurday.

And playday at Carson Newman next saturday against Heritage and Morristown West.

Elizabethton scrimmaged Sullivan South tonight at South. Cyclones won four quarter varsity game 59-46, and two quarter JV contest by about 6.

Dobyns Bennett looked horrible in their scrimmage against greeneville. Their point guard had who knows how many turnovers. She has a difficult time going to her left. They do have a nice freshman that is going to be good as the season goes along. Their star post did not do anything. She must have been sick. They have a long way to go to be at the top of the Big 9.

Boone won their scrimmage against Hampton handily, but Hampton is hard to judge against. Little bit down this year, and small in stature. Boone showed some sparkle, but also some rust. Saturday's games should put it in a better perspective................

Science Hill beat South greene by one good game . They then beat Clinton by 13.

Saw the first game, a very good game. Boone has South Greene in a Hall of Fame game later in the week. They looked pretty scrappy.
