Still wondering how people pick Hendersonville over Siegel <_<

Siegel beat them 1-0 in preseason and 3-0 at Katie Hunter

Doubt that they will play each other. If either of these teams is looking to a rematch they won't get that far. Franklin may just may have more than Siegel is expecting.

thats a really bad example because farragut and houston were not on a level playing field

 

hendersonville and siegel are equal in both talent and playing well going into the tournament those 2 things are fact and not my opinion

 

coaching: now i do not like some of the things that the siegel coaches do with there goalie and its one little thing that they won't correct

 

talking about goalkeeper 7 out of 8 goalies it's there 1st state tournament so there might be alot goals scored in this tourny

What would you correct just out of curiosity?

For the same reason most picked Farragut over Houston in 2004. Farragut beat Houston 2 - 0 earlier in the season and then lost in the final. It's about talent, coaching and how you are playing at this point and time imo.

In my opinion, Siegel is playing their best soccer of the season. They weren't playing good at all early in the year but still posted good results. They are controlling the ball MUCH better since beating Houston in Collierville tourney and Siegel is a very offensive minded team so thats extremely important for them.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
