What are some of the bowls this year? And who will be playing in them?

Middle Tennessee Christian School (6-4), playing it's first year of football, will play Sunbright (5-5) in the Logan's Roadhouse Bowl.

 

MTCS is hosting the game, according to The Daily News Journal, in Murfreesboro, November 2nd.

If a team finishes with a .500 or better record and does not qualify for the playoffs, they can play in a bowl game. There are a scant few each year.

Sunbright and MTSC? MTSC was so small it would fit in Oakland H.S. Gym. It doesn't say where it will be played but probably not at Johnny "Red" Floyd Stadium on the Campus of beautiful Middle Tennessee State University. It is MTSU's Home Coming Weekend so that Thursday night game will be tough. Motels will already be booked.

 

I think this may be the WECO crew's best chance to broadcast a football game from the 'boro. It is at least a sure thing.

6-4 is a really good record for a first year team. Congrats to MTCS.

I think Sunbright is better than them at 5-5 because MTCS hasn't played an extremely tough schedule...but I guarantee they will give fits down the road...another good first year team is Stone Memorial in Crossville. THey went 8-2 this year and beat 5a cumberland county.
