Congrats to you at Cascade for making Finals at State in just your second year of marching! Way to Go! I am a Forrest parent and we were certainly thrilled with our 2nd also. Looks like your program is on its way, I could not believe the size of your band...again great job!

As a former band member and current parent of a band member, I want to thank Riverdale for the hospitality they showed during the Division I Championships.

I watched the entire day from 9:30am till after the finals. There were a lot of wonderful bands. Each band that performed was entertaining to watch. I am glad I got to be there and experience the moment.

The top ten bands were awesome. The awards ceremony was fantastic. I haven’t seen one since I was in high school many years ago.

I have a child in the Cascade band, and I want to thank our band director for bringing the band together and teaching them how to work as a team.

Special thanks to everyone involved at the Division I Championship.

See you next year.

I loved the day, and thought it was fantastic. A few groups I was surprised at were that both Fayette and Harriman were as low as they were in finals (not to take anything away from the other groups). Also, some of the groups that were nnot in finals such as Halls, West Carroll, and Oliver Springs. I thought all these groups had good shows, and very entertaining (once again, nothing against the other groups).

I was excited about the quality of shows, and my nephew enjoyed watching the drumlines, as he is a former drummer. He thought that the best drumlines he saw were Adamsville (no doubt), Halls, West Carroll, Oliver Springs, and Wayne County, and wanted me to add this.

I look forward to next years show, and best of luck to all bands in 2007.

    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
