Kingston Girls vs Wartburg in HOF

The Lady Jackets play Wartburg in a HOF game Nov 16th. Any opinions on how this one will turn out? I heard Wartburg has a girl transferring in from Sunbright that is suppose to be pretty good, anyone know who she is? What about the Lady Jackets, who do they have returning from last year?

Not trying to be mean or smart, I'm sure you're just ready and excited about the season, but I think you put who they'd have back in a post yesterday:

You're correct, however, the person I spoke to is from Knoxville and wasnt sure if everone they mentioned was for sure returning. You're also correct that I'm very excited about the season starting. Just trying to get as much info as possible.

from what i have heard the "trasfer" from Sunbright didnt even go to summer camp with them. but again thats what i have heard. i think that the game will be a pretty good one to watch if wartburg plays well.

Saw both in camp, would have to go with Kingston.

This should be a real good game with the record Wartburg had last season this will be a good test to see if they turn things around during the summer. and for Kingston with a new coach we can see how the team will react to him and see if they might make a run at the district. Good luck to both teams.

The Smith girl looked real good last year wasnt she a Freshman last season? And the Givens girls look good for the most part but they will have to impove this year and Gentry and Hardin will have to step up and lead this team or it will be a long year for their new coach.

Should be a good test in the HOF game.

The transfer from Sunbright is Meghan McWhorter and she is a very good basketball player. I think the Wartburg girls will be a lot better this year. Since there is only one senior, the rest of the players will probably consist of juniors. The juniors this year are a really good set of basketball players who have been playing together since middle school...so I think they should be able to have great teamwork and be able to win more games.

I thought if you transfered you had to sit out a year before you could play for another team?
