We are all sorry that Junior didn't get enough playing time on FCS's middle school team. Sometimes genetics just can't be overcome from dear ole dad.

glad you know everything. i would rather see people give their opinion in a supporting way. you know... good luck to whoever. blah blah blah. but everyone seems pretty confident that gville is going to win... just like last time. correct me if i'm wrong please but why is this time going to be any different? last time gville had nothing to lose and fcs had everything to lose. i'm confused. i even heard gville fans saying that friendship got lucky and that gville was the better team. why is this fcspoe? please explain to me why everyone thinks friendship is going to lose and why no one has given them a chance all year. from what i have seen they have a great team. they have great coaches. they work hard in practice and study game film. yes, they have things to improve. they will for sure have to shut down the QB. i'm not a cocky fan and i'm not sittin here fcs has this game won, b/c they dont. it's going to be a great game. and i cannot stress this enough.... HOLD ON TO THE BALL! DO NOT FUMBLE. this applies to some more than others.

You'll have to excuse me if i get a little frustrated reading the boards. I feel like a USC fan from the past few years. We haven't lost a game and everyone still says we are not any good.

 

I guess the good thing about that is that USC couldn't prove they were good in a playoff system, and FCS will.

I believe some of these comments prove why many people don't like FC.

You know, there is a big difference between arrogance and confidence.

Confidence is believing you can win and being humble when you do.

Arrogance is believing you can win and putting down your opponents and their fans thinking you're better than them.

 

I never said FC wasn't the better team the last time they played; they were that night.

I think, along with many other people, that G-ville has what it takes to win.

 

I don't see the reason why you would put down fans that believe their team can win, especially when they have good reason to believe that.

 

We'll see the end results Friday.

FCS is not the underdog in this contest at all, the Gville fans outnumber the FCS fans about 5 to 1 on coachT. Not to mention that most of TC, all of south pitt, and i would say over half the state wants FCS to lose as well. So that is why it might seem like FCS is the underdog.

 

but make no mistake, FCS knows they can beat Gville and (no matter what the Gville fans and players say they still aren't sure yet.)

I think FC fired the Tigers up. Then after the game on the field, added fuel to the fire. Things havent been the same around here since. Im also amazed again how you KNOW what GV players are saying? Most especially what they are thinking. They are NOT ALLOWED on coacht. What players are thinking is they are going to come over there and open a can of W A on FC. Should they be thinking anything less?

As for players on coachT, there are no FCS players on here either, i don't think that ANY players from ANY school should be allowed on coachT.

 

As for my crystal ball goes, how is it any different when some say that Gville will show up ready to beat FCS to a pulp and will win this game. Explain that to me.

 

All i said is simple, FCS knows they can beat this years Gville team, they have done it since sophmore year. Gville's team is fired up and ready for this game, they can be confident in themselves, confident in their chances, and thinking they can win the ballgame. But there is a big difference in "knowing" you can win because of your team and your coachs, and "knowing" you can win because you have done it before.

Yet again, someone tries to jump on the FC bandwagon and gets rudely kicked off.

 

What concerns do you have in allowing others to join in as FC is frontrunning this year?

Struggled at TTU early on this year too.

FC is a good school that has a few fans whose only concern is winning.

It is too bad that these few fans bring down the rest of the supporters of the Commanders.

 

The truth is you few fans only want to build this wall that shows all a winning program. My complaint on the private/public board that got Junior involved was structured around taking players from a school's own student population and making them into football players. I never even mentioned FC's name into my argument. I simply asked if it was recruiting to have players play on your school's team that did not attend your school. Again, it is my belief that a school should build from within.

I will agree with any scenario that includes Temple...

Not so fast my furried tiger friends according to LV source TC was the toughest opponent they have faced this year.That includes Temple and So. Pitt who gave the LV Jackets their only losses during regular season. There is a new tempo down on the old Creekbank an it is to an upscale beat. I am pulling for the Tigers and who knows the Jackets and Tigers just might get to lock horns one more time this year. Good Luck G-Villie Kitties beat FC.

I have watched FCS beat several teams this season who knew they could win. happy that Gville will bring everything they have just like always, but people saying "we can and will beat your overrated butts" is getting old. (for those of you who will say this is cocky i have also seen FCS lose to teams they knew they could beat). The fans that i take seriously are the ones who say "FCS is good, but i think we can win" such as Mo$$$ and Croz. most of the others just annoy me. Basically i am just re-stating that if someone wants FCS fans (for the most part) to show respect you have to give respect.

 

now nerves is something that i will agree with a Gville fan on. But i don't think the nerves is just because it is Gville, some of them looked a little nervous before Grace baptist, these guys have been waiting a while for the playoffs and the playoffs will make every player a bit nervous.

I just thought I would add a little something to pat SP on the back. SP has in my opinion 4 players on their team faster than any FC player. You deserve the name Speed Pittsburg.

SP's backs were faster than FC, but their line was nowhere near the caliber of FC. That's why they couldn't do anything with the ball.

If G-ville is going to win, the linemen will have to play like they did against SP or better.
