thebakersman
Does anyone out there believe that tonight's Goodpasture-Alcoa game result could be a good indicator of how Saturday's game will turn out?????? FOR INSTANCE, if Goodpasture wins then chances are DL will have a great shot of winning then on the other hand if Alcoa blows GP out tonight then Fulton could win in a blowout tomorrow afternoon I think the Googpasture-Alcoa game is completely unconnected to the DL-Fulton game. Do you think the players are gonna let a blowout in tonights game affect the way they play. They dont care which of those teams get rings. They just wanna get one for themselves. Just wanted to know as much as these two team's games have been compared to their games with the two 2A's teams in weeks zero and three If the officials from the 1A game are calling this one tomorrow Fulton had better be on their best behavior out there

FOR INSTANCE, if Goodpasture wins then chances are DL will have a great shot of winning then on the other hand if Alcoa blows GP out tonight then Fulton could win in a blowout tomorrow afternoon I really don't think it will affect anything. To many variables. The L v G game was week zero...a week that Lipscomb never plays and when they play in week one they almost always lose. There are insider reasons for that, but we won't got there. And as far as Alcoa v KF. Similar, two gaints sparring. BTW it's been a good game so far...I think tomorrow's will be too. The 3A championship was two weeks ago. Hey clueless...wrong...it is tomorrow at noon. Haven't you heard?
gridironguy
Looks like my post went over someone's head... at least I know the level of intelligence I'm dealing with here, now. I'll try and dumb down my posts for you.

All we know about them is they were one of the best 8 teams in 3A football. Fulton vs. DLHS ... we'll see ya in the Boro... or maybe your still whining in Knoxville. olympian
Throwing my prediction out now . . . I'm sticking to my earlier post. Three points: (1) If anyone beats Lipscomb - - they will have earned it, it will not be a fluke. (2) Lipscomb 37 - Fulton 14, my prediction (3) Giles County and Goodpasture are the only teams to hold Lipscomb to under 30 points in a game. The Giles County defense allow "only" three touchdowns per game. Until someone does better - the AAA "state championship game" - two best teams on a given night was two weeks ago where Lipscomb defeated Giles County by a score of 21 - 14. Best of luck to both teams, fans travel safe . . . . Bobcats pulling for Region 5 foe Mustangs to bring the Gold Ball home to middle Tennessee.
