BBall_Fan
With the Kilgore girl scoring as much as she has as of late, it'll be interesting to see how Whitwell handles this one. Any predictions?

What a hoot! I'm sure the people of Whitwell is proud of hims for standing up for dem and there teem and doin' that . If you think about it, their final score of the game was probably higher than this guy's IQ anyway. Personally, I think he should be banned from any future school events and he should be sitting in jail today too. Too many coaches and Officials have been injured by irate or just plain idiotic parents and fans. Coaches and officials should be protected from irate fans and if some idiot decides to take out his frustrations or show his lack of common sense and SPORTSMANSHIP, he should be eligible for time to sit in a jail cell and figure out what "NOT TO DO" if they ever allow him into any kind of sporting event again. country30
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. If you are close to the situation then you understand what happened last night. It doesn't make it right, but you understand. Hats off to Coach Zensen and the Lady Tigers for giving all they got. You don't get any more classy than Coach Zensen, Coach Ware, and the Lady Tigers. They have charcter and they will be ready for the Lady Pirates next Friday night. Lady Tigers, you were impressive last night and you never gave up. You made Whitwell proud and we back you all the way!

Rodman15
Easily one of the most intense games I've seen in a very long time, possibly ever. The Lady Warriors won 63-61, but only after Whitwell came back from being down at least 20. Amazing effort by both teams, Thomas and Barnett carried the Tigers back, and Kilgore, Holcomb, and Rich all three had amazing nights, which carried the Lady Warriors to a tested win. As far as the after game, I was a little confused about what exactly happened, but I can easily see the hostility that would be your old coach leaving, and coming back and beating you. Whitwell had a great crowd, I think I'm a little deaf today from the extreme noise. Great job to both teams, and best luck throughout the rest of the season. You made Whitwell proud and we back you all the way! OBVIOUSLY, Hats off to BOTH teams and coaches for a game well played last night. From what I've heard, it was a hard-fought match and neither team ever gave up or gave in. I understand everyone's entitled to an opinion but I don't understand how any school official can allow fans to attack coaches, players, or anyone else associated with a sporting event or school activity and NOT ban them from attendance. How many times, in recent years, have we read about people asssociated with sporting events being hurt or even killed by an irate parent or fan? In my eyes, they're all just condoning such behavior when they try to overlook it or make excuses for it (for ANY reason). I honestly can't see why the home-team school officials didn't have the guy escorted out immediately and banned from school property. Would they look at it the same if a coach went up into the stands and attacked a fan? I'd venture to say he'd be looking for a new job today (and have a hard time finding one). Players, coaches, other fans, or anybody else for that matter, could get hurt in an altercation and open up a whole batch of lawsuits against a school system and/or their officials. Every fan should be required to act in a dignified manner at all times. Let the people know you won't tolerate such behavior from anyone and let the kids be proud of their schools and their fans and enjoy their sports. The school officials are just as guilty by not punishing the people who behave in such a manner. By making excuses or overlooking it, they give the appearance that they approve of it and only help to promote more of it in the future. Once again, just my opinion

THAT WAS VERY UNCALLED FOR ,SO WHAT IF THE PARENTS DONT LIKE HIM THAT DONT MEAN THE KIDS DONT. WHAT REALLY TICKED ME OFF WAS JEFF CAME RUNNING ONTO THE COURT AND BUSTED THROUGH THE GIRLS AS THEY WERE GETTING THIER STUFF FROM THE BENCH, AND THEN THE CRAZY WILD WOMAN GRABBING RANDY BY THE SHIRT. I THINK T.S.S.A.A. SHOULD STEP IN AND DO SOMETHING TO PEOPLE THAT DO THESE KIND OF THINGS AT SPORTING EVENTS. I AM FROM WHITWELL A I AM ASHAMED OF WHAT HAPPENED. BUT WHAT A GREAT BASKETBVALL GAME THE GIRLS PLAYED.

Once again, just my opinion Obviously by your quote you were not at the game and you are way out of line discussing what administration did not do, because you were NOT there! If you were there, then you know the Atletic Director and Principal handled the situation quickly, peace was restored and the people involved were escorted out of the GYM. Indian
I wasn't there either, but I don't support either team so I think I can given an unbiased opinion that they should be barred from attending any more games this season. Indian, you and I haven't seen eye to eye on anything for the past five years. However, I do think you have a valid point. However, you are telling me you would disallow parents to come to a game because of one incident and NO one was HIT! These parents did not BREAK the law. They got upset about a situation that occured. Again, you were not there and most everybody who has commented has started off with the words "I HEARD". Hard to give an opinion if you didn't see the STORY! These are good parents who have been very supportive of their children and the school.
