Just a rumor to throw off Hillsboro's game plan. Maples will have about 200 yards and 3 td's.

If this is in fact true, they will miss Gaylor as much if not more than Maples.

So somebody please give us the rundown on Maples condition and please if you do not know firsthand do not answer the question. The last thing I want to read is rumors because I can not find a story on this issue in the paper. Thnx

Jimmy Campbell just said on the WBCR broadcast that Gaylor may not have made the trip.

 

Also said that Maples was on crutches yesterday, but will play.

Maples was injured. Apparently some type of injury sustained at Red Bank that flared up. I was told by someone who should know he missed practice Wed getting treatment. He was limited at practice Thursday at UT and was on crutches a lot on Thursday and Friday. He had to take a few plays off from time to time but he did play hurt. And played very well.
