montague1
His scout.com profile as a senior in high school....... http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=8&am...&nid=223044 2-star. Yeah. They also ranked 140+ linebackers ahead of him. Doesn't surprise that me though, certain teams from West Tennessee have a long history of their players going unnoticed. LionLover
Congratulations to Patrick. Fat Phil has done some stupid stuff over the years. Overlooking Patrick Willis has to be near the top of the list.
Greenfieldfan
Congratulations to a fine outstanding young man, always polite and courteous and a big time player. He has represented West Tennessee well wherever he goes and he will continue to do so. He was a class act on and off the field in high school and was a pleasure to talk to and to watch play. Good luck in the future, you have alot of people pulling for you. Edited December 24, 2006 by Greenfieldfan
Former Coach
I always enjoy watching Willis play. I have heard many good things about him. Congratulations.
kidzdad
Jackson Sun has done a series on Willis. It's a very inspirational story. As a matter of fact, it's the only thing the Sun has ever done that I would recomend, but check it out at: http://www.jacksonsun.com/apps/pbcs.dll/ar...EWS01/612170310 . Also, check out the Related Stories on that page. Edited December 19, 2006 by kidzdad
extremefury
Fulmer and his staff have let a ton of kids leave this state.Warren (Florida State) P. Turner(USC) B. Turner(Nebraska) Willis (Ole Miss) Wallace (Auburn) - 3 year starter @ Auburn - They won a bunch of games with him at TE Scott (Memphis) Thats 6 kids he let get out the state. I do think they could have helped UT. Fulmer doesnt seem to make the state of Tennessee a priority. Not to hijack this thread, but did you ever think that may be these kids didn't want to go to Tennessee. Believe it or not, not everyone is a Vol fan. I know that Warren and Patrick Turner were both offered.
