They did play good tonight....

Maybe, but if there's any LC fan dawging mTp tonight, their full of it. There were several times I looked across the field and seen the worry in ther faces. They might have won but they didn't dominate no matter what they say. The coach for LC new it too. He wouldn't kick it to us at the end. Besides I like the old line when it gets said....Their a 2a school...their supposed to win.

Thanks FCSprideatUT. The blocking situation did in fact improve a little and mTp started coming. Missed a good scoring opportunity when our guy lost the passed ball when the LC defender got to him. That would have brought us back within 7. Could have been a little closer score at the end there, but with a 1:30 to go the LC coach was so worried about this little 1A team that he on side kicked it to get the ball back to keep this 1A from scoring again on that MIGHTY 2A team.

 

Way to go tigers, as usual you get better as the season goes.

OH yeah, who's line got DOMINATED down there on the one when it became a battle of lines when mTp puhed their way in for the score??????

Sounds like alittle sour grapes there. Yes he kicked an onside.....and then tell it all.....they just took a knee..didn't try to score again. You were down 40-21 with alittle over a minute left......so your point is...we might have lost by less if we could have got and score in that time frame!...Still a lost and LCHS showed class by just kneeling down..inside of trying to score and make it look worse than it was. You caught some good breaks .....your one drive..that got you down was successful due to flags bringing it down.....look at the film on your pass interfirence call.....phantom call...then personal foul.......just funny. But the game is done its in the books...good look the rest of the year.......and all yea by the way......It was an injury free game!

No sour grapes at all. You won, congratulations. Now what since does it make to on side kick it with a lead that far ahead other than not to let us score again and get the point spread closer.

Wow, I guess theres more "whiners" around here than just the announcers. Both teams lined up last night ready to go, both teams went at it again tonight. Had the whole weekend to prepare but yet still look at a few calls for an excuse. When you play good and pull off the win, the zebras have no control over the outcome. Yet when you lose, you can always find a good reason. The Tigers should look at this loss with no excuses, like the good team that I think they are.

MTP.....you have some awful good athletes......to bad the coaches don't use them more.....Marco is a good athlete.....but I can see how his numbers are so large...he is MTP everything...if the coaches used the other talent.....I believe they would be a much stronger team.....was impressed with some of the ones that doesn't get the ink. Getting some of them more involved in the offense.....I believe might help get that gold ball at the end......otherwise.....could be alot tougher to achieve. Good luck the rest of the year.

Thanks a lot Stat. I don't know if your a MTP fan or not, but your right. There are plenty of strong boys on our team to handle the ball. Give them a chance, this is High School! Don't ride one guy like your desperate. The Tigers ARE a good team, don't waste it away because you have a Mr. Football.

This is a very nice post with a lot of good points but I just don't see how you can question Marco getting the ball as often as he does. He also attempted a bunch of passes tonight and several other guys ran the ball besides him. I am just a girl so I don't know all the technical stuff.
