That's katie herman, probably our best player...she just a junior though so we got one more year with her! Last i heard she was averaging about 18 a game and had 23 last night.

She played good last night. Their whole team played pretty well. Good luck to them on the rest of the season.

Yea, but last night was a joke. Katie only scored 2 points I think. There starters or top few that get to play only scored 10 points with the other few going in with less than 2 minutes with one of the 2nd stringers and scored 4 points of the 14 they scored the whole game. I understand it was just freshman against freshman maybe, but there so called starters only scored 3 against the same bunch in the other 6 minutes of the 4th qtr. Don't understand why a coach would just sit by and let just a few keep playing over and over and being down by 30 to 40 points. Why not mix it up try some of your other players at least give them a chance to see what they might have. Even the tall senior girl only played a little in the 1st qtr. not sure it was even a minute or maybe 2. The 3rd string played as much as she did. Why could she not have taken out the Page girl and let the senior play with the other freshman. To me if your down 33 points at half time what is it going to hurt to let your 2nd string play the 3rd and your others play the 4th. Move on to building for next year or we will see the same thing next year. Also looks like we have alot of friends who's children and grandchildren are getting quit a bit of playing time. It would be ok if they were better. But its the same everywhere, who you know and who you are.

This is getting ridiculous. Number one, i dont think ANYONE metioned the Macon County game at all and everytime someone tries to start a post praising the Lady Tigers for a good game, people like you get on here and continue to state the same things over and over. Yes, they are struggling! O WELL! Just stink it up and cheer for them! Whats the point of getting on here and running them down! Just stay on topic and forget about all the problems they are having because nothing can be done by us! O and did i forget to mention that our district has won three state championships since the year 2000? We arent playing creampuff teams my friend! :thumb:

    • Best-of-three sectional series vs East Robertson at home starting Wednesday.  They put us out last year at this point.  Go Pirates!!
    • I don't believe they have anyone that is surbers caliber but a decent staff overall.
    • Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?
    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
