Mid season in the Watgua Conference

Who do u think wat the final standings will be! some teams are starting to turn around...

 

1. unicoi- good team but can be beat

2. Johnson county- great team but hard to beat at home like unicoi

3. West greene- Best team in the conference right now

4. Chuckey doak - played great agisnt unicoi should turn it around they have the tools to turn it around.

5. E-town- good team that micah guy is really good

6. south greene- not the best team they have had but still good

7. Sullivan north- good team have some good shooters

8. Happy valley- Slow paced game has nipped some good teams

 

wat do u think? any team can be beat its up for grabs in my eyes....

West Greene the best team in the conferance right now??? We'll just see about that when Unicoi beats them by 40+ again...

 

Here's how I think it will end up:

 

1. Unicoi County 14-0

2. Johnson County 10-4

3. Sullivan North 9-5

4. Elizabethton 8-6

T5. West Greene 6-8*

T5. South Greene 6-8*

7. Happy Valley 2-12

8. Chuckey-Doak 1-13

* I don't know what the tie breaker is for district seedings... Is it head-to-head record or regular season record???

 

This is how I would personaly rank the teams.

1. Erwin

2. Johnson County

T3. Elizabethton

T3. Sullivan North

5. South Greene

6. West Greene

7. Happy Valley

8. Chuckey-Doak

What i meant was West greene is playing the best basketball right now! Unicoi will beat them agian. but Unicoi isnt that great from what i saw on the sidelines on friday night.... we prob would of beat them but are 2 starting post were hurt.... 6'5 6'3 post we started 6'0 post and should of got beat by 50. Unicoi is out of shape. Slow. if u run the ball aginst unicoi u will kill them. we out scored them 20-9 in the 4th by running the ball. we were very neourvs i mean dang the blue nation is the best student section ever.. but they are the best just cause of the size and some talent.

I don't mean any disrespect, but how in the world do you expect to beat Unicoi when in your game against Clinch, you were TIED 25-25 at halftime???

that was a while back and its the past. we put that behind us! every team has a bad game but didnt we still win by 20? a win is a win! but i understand what u mean!

Unicoi is slow? I seriously doubt you have ever seen half of their guards run. Elizabethton is probably as athletic as anyone in the area and they had trouble keeping up. Erwin was down to their fourth string against West Greene in the fourth quarter. As a matter of fact, four of their starters, didn't play more than 3-4 minutes in the seond half. I'll agree with you on the fact that every team is beatable but I believe you should be searching for a new Achilles heel when it comes to the Blue Devils.

if i recall it was 34-13 and devils had all subs in when you made your 20-9 4th run. devils played at unaka night before, built their lead on you then subbed!!! i wouldn't get to excited about the possibility of "killing" the devils. win maybe.
