HAHAHAHAHAHA...noway on earth CPA looses tomorrow night at home to Hume Fog!!! and in order for DL to win State let alone win region....they will need a miracle....not one thats easily found either!!

Oh I forgot CPA has the best coach in the state. What was I thinkin'. CPA by at least 40.

Coach Maddux may not be the best coach in the state but he is a long ways ahead of the coach in second.

Seriously, you can jest, but the results speak for themselves. He took a group that many said were good players but too young to be contenders this year and they have held their own and then some against some great competition.

Well said. Is it not his first high school head coaching job also? I know it is his first working with this team of mostly underclassmen.

Coach Maddox is done in incredible job! not only are his schemes and coaching abilities great....his players love him and really really work hard for him! He has brought that extra intangible back to CPA that it had lost in basketball!! And looking at his coaching I mean he may have a great prosepect in "Z" but they are still sophmores with a lone senior...I think how well the team does in district and region will reflect on his coaching because getting lower classmen to play well in such high stakes will be big!!!

    • Hope the catcher on baseball team come back out and play's football . He didn't play last year if I remember but I don't remember much after that wreck anyways.. But he did play his freshman and soph years and I thought was a very good player. He's put on some size now, so I'm hoping he's thinking about playing again..
    • Pirates are young this year.  Gordy can sleep on them.
    • They’ll get it worked out eventually.Farragut is too good of a program to be down for long. As an OR fan, I can’t really say I’m too distraught about it though.
    • I didn’t even see that until you said something, but I don’t think it’s that bad. Yes, the coaches can’t get along with each other. But I don’t think they’re openly taking shots at each other right in front of the parents. If they are, that’s pitiful though, that’s really pitiful. I sure hope they’re not, but yeah, I’ve heard the same thing from players over at Farragut getting fed up, and I feel as though what the coaching staff has been trying to keep under the prying eyes of the parents is now out on full display.
    • and there is definitely a reason for that—more than just Catholic recruiting.
