jakesdad
QUOTE(BayouBear @ Jan 19 2007 - 12:48 PM) 826337671 Where's Andy Walden? Andy is just "banged-up" a bit. Big Owl wanted to rest him this week. He should be back in the line up next week!
jakesdad
Congratulations to the Owls for the big win over the Irish. Good to see BCB, Harry, and a number of the old OLPHers at our place. At least a couple of wrestlers from each team would have liked to have used a mulligan last night, but for the most part I thought both teams wrestled very well. Herrera and Richmond showed about as much fight as I have seen this year. Wild might have had his best match of the season. And Hood delivered under pressure (again). Good work guys! bear cat brown
QUOTE(soms @ Jan 19 2007 - 11:50 AM) 826337610 BCB and Harry, your boys got some key bonus points I see to keep it close, but my old frind "Danny boy" has to proud of what Jared did at 152 to keep the Owls ahead. Congrats to the WHOLE Wolfe family!! Plus the fact that we won 7 matches. Congrats BigOwl and the Ooltewah family what a great match. Very proud of the way our Irish and the Owls wrestled hard and acted like young men in winning and losing. Says alot about their coaches. 0-2 this year when laying down the cash ( Red Bank 33-33 Ool 31-30), but luckily we have found a couple of suckers on the pool table to offset all damages. Keep working hard Irish, your improvement is beaming Let's Go Irish bcb
ijtx
Bear Cat: Sorry I missed the action at the Owl's nest, but thanks for pointing out the great event in high school athletics it turned out to be. Naturally, I was pulling for the Irish but have nothing but praise for the great job the OHS coaching staff have done with that program. They exemplify the good qualities of competition and sportsmanship and I hope they enjoy their well-deserved success. BTW, a former Lutheran wrestler you might remember had nothing but praise for ND's 112 pounder. The former Lutheran kid attended the Bradley match and was wowed by what he saw. Congrats. Now about your pool table prowess, Harry and I were afraid if we pummeled you two any worse, we'd get reported to the Humane Society. Just wait till next caravan stop - we're talking baby seal time.
