Congrats to the Lady Bulldogs last night in your victory. You really played your best ball all season. Don't listen to anyone tell you different. Even if Moore Co. had their ( #10) last night, I don't think she would have been enough for them to win. You completely dominated the first half and played their style of in your face defense. Way to Go Girls....

Congrats on the win Cornersville.

But to say #10 would not have made a big difference is another thing.

But Cornersville may have won anyway. They have talent. Good luck the rest of the year.

Didn't say she would not have made a big difference....

Said " I don't think she would have been enough for them to win"

They do have a good team, but one player does not make any team. Cornersville did play well team ball though. I just hope we play that well against Richland. If so it will be a barn burner. Problem with C'ville is youth and inexperience, but they are gradually improving. Keep up the good work girls...

    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
