ksgovols
Who's everybody got left? Harpeth has a 2 with Stewart County, 2 with Fairview, one with Waverly and 2 big games with Sycamore left at the half way point. With sweeps over Creekwood and Central, it looks like Harpeth's to lose.

Monday 4/23 & Tuesday 4/24 Stewart Co. vs Cheatham Co.; Creek Wood vs Sycamore; Fairview vs Harpeth; Montgomery Central vs Waverly Central Thursday 4/26 Harpeth vs Waverly Central The series between Harpeth & Sycamore in a week and a half is going to decide the district title. Montgomery Central is in the drivers seat for third place in the district seeing as how they hold a 1 GAME LEAD on Creek Wood and they also swept the Red Hawks just a week or so ago. The battle from fifth through eighth is interesting. Fairview, Stewart Co., & Waverly have all split the season series against one another. None of those teams has yet to have played Cheatham Co. (who is really improving of late). The Cubs have 1 GAME left against the one of the TOP 4 teams in the district and that's next Thursday at Sycamore. I believe the Cubs will take advantage of this and they are now by far and away in the drivers seat to finish fifth in the district seeing as how all three of those other teams still have many games left against the district's elite. Much like District 11AA had in basketball with Fairview, Waverly Central, & Montgomery Central I believe there will possibly be a three-way tiebreaker scenario between Waverly Central, Stewart Co., & Fairview to decide the final three spots. The Cubs upset win over Montgomery Central last night may be their saving grace in this race. 3 WEEKS OF BASEBALL REMAIN TO DECIDE THE RACE FOR THE DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!! ksgovols
Creekwood vs Sycamore and Central vs Sycamore will tell alot too since 2 of those guys losses are to Harpeth and they're still sitting in the top 4. Creekwood will be in the thick of it at the end. They've played alot of baseball in the first half of the season.

They've played alot of baseball in the first half of the season. i think we (cw) will be able to pull it off with sycamore.. we have been struggling with some minor problems wich cost us a few games. As long as we put the ball in play, throw strikes, and make routine plays behind our pitcher we will do fine... by the way good luck to harpeth for the rest of the season.
