Underestimated teams

What teams will be a surprise this year? I think Jackson Northside will be the top a-aa west tn team this year. Dyersburg and Madison lost a lot of talent, but a lot of the younger players learned a lot from the seniors last year. USJ and Westview look like they will be fielding very competitive squads too. Your thoughts?

Even though Notre Dame hasn't made it to state in a very long time, I think that I can safely say that Notre Dame will be a team that will surprise everyone with a big state run in A/AA.

LaVergne...they havent been good in past years, but this years team is the best they have ever been, im not saying that they will go undefeated and win state or anything...im just saying they could pull off a few upsets this year

I am speaking for my own team, but Sycamore should be a mild suprise this year.

With only 2 returning seniors no one will expect us to do much this year, but we do have 8 juniors with returning experience. It will be a good year.

Look out for West this year. They have been improving over the past few years and have some real talent. They will replace a solid keeper with another good one, they have a solid midfield, and have some speed and size up top. Depth will be less of an issue this year. The big question is can they get by Bearden or Farragut when it counts.

watch for independence from franklin, tn to be contenders in the williamson co. district. they're a relatively new school and started with only freshman and sophomores, so they haven't graduated anyone yet (this is the first year for them to have seniors)...

You are correct. West High School has proven to be a top notch team in the last couple of seasons. It will be interesting to see how well they do this coming season againts the likes of Farragut, Bearden and Maryville which I assume will probably be rebuilding this year?

I'm also speaking for my own team. McNairy will be a very strong team this year. They have a very deep roster and lost only 1 senior. Watch for McNairy Central this year.

I think an underrated team is the team i play for once again we had the best record in a long time The Millington Trojans who has alot of talent coming back i look for us to have a even better year this year and come out and go to state but we have a tough schedule anyone heard on Cordova or Bolton,or Bartlett???

Oak Ridge could have a suprising season this year. Dont be suprised to see them in a close Region game with farragut or bearden.

oak ridge can surpris people if they can be consisent with there offense. Last year there offense at times was not near as wat it should be.

speaking for my own team but adamsville should be pretty tough this year with 9 returing seniors that has started sense the 8th grade there will be alot of depth and speed this year not saying that we are state worthy but we should do very well in district
