apparently no one on this page has heard of or seen lincoln county play.... they are stacked. franklin county played riverdale and got beat by an ungodly 23 runs. LC played riverdale and played a horrible game and still tied them 3-3. LC is clearly the favorite, the only competition is columbia. and if lincoln county plays like they are capable, they should have no trouble there either. look for lincoln county to come out of this district undefeated and run region. state tournament contenders.

I don't know about Lincoln County having no trouble with Columbia. Columbia played Lincoln about 6 times this summer and was 5-1 against them. I agree that Columbia and Lincoln are by far the best two teams on paper.

summer is overated... lincoln played mostly jv durin the summer... guess this year will prove it all when they square up

I didn't realize that those transfers, Shamichael Black, and that shortstop were all JV players.

(FC...will be tough game anytime.... that night at riverdale is was a very very cold night and we had only had 2 practices ...think what you want FC will be dominate this year!!!)

Forget the summer, forget the scrimmages, only one thing matters and thats winning DURING the season. Lets just get it on.

Somebody find the last 8AAA team that went undefeated during the regular season! I don't doubt they're tough, just not that tough. Undefeated in this district is unheard of. I don't know if it's ever been done.

we said that about riverdale in 7AAA... it's deffinitly an honorable thing to be able to say you've won every district game.

whats all this talk about lincoln county dominating the district...? are you talking about the softball team? it sure aint the baseball team.. i cant wait until march 28 to see columbia and lincoln county match up... ill be there
