best goalie in the state

Yeah i agree, he played great in now two games I have see. He just needs to keep composed.

Farragut has been playing lacrosse now for 10-15 years. They've had some very competitive teams in the past although they have struggled as of recent years. The age of the program is my best guess.

Thanks, I know they had some great teams some time ago. I do have to say though that D1 lacrosse should watch out for Farragut in the years to come. They are starting like 8 sophmores this year

Im surprised theres no talk about Andru Potts from McCallie. He excells in every game and makes many saves that shouldnt be made. I know Ravenwood put 13 on him, but that was the fault of mccallie defense. Ravenwood should have had probably 20 or more. Also he played great in the MBA game. He had 21 saves. Any MBA player could attest to that. I thought he played much better than Barnes

Farragut has had some success. My brother was the goalie for them when he was there. I can't remember what year it was but I think that Farragut's best chance to win state in lax was when he was there, but they ended up canceling their tournament game because a player was in a car wreck on his way to the game. I can't remember if this was when Farragut was D-1 or not, but they def. had a good team that year. I think what has hurt Farragut the most is that their coach left. He coached when they were good in the early 2000's and maybe late 1990's is gone now. He def. knew what he was talking about, not that the one now doesn't know, but he had a real feel and love for the game.

Rob brandt from west knox is ok, he has def improved from in the last two years...but he does the thing that really pisses me off with goalies, and he drops to his knees on low shots...the old "look low, shot high" well beat a goalie like that any day of the week
