Cloudland had a tough day today. When you run a half court offense and fall behind like that your in trouble!!! However, they were at STATE and a lot of teams were not. Good luck next season Cloudland.

Dang it! Don't go all West Tennessee on us just because you're from Mount Misery. We don't have any idea what Cloudland or anyone in their district would do on any given gameday, how many injuries they've had or anything other than what happened on this particular day in this particular season. Enjoy the ride. It doesn't happen all that often. I mean, I'm from Maury County and I can't think of a state champion in any sport in my lifetime from any of the county teams. Why hate on the ones that are there when your team is not?

I aint hating just stating my opinion. I think they would finish in the middle of the pack in either district. Collinwood, Summertown, Mt. Pleasant, Moore County, and Richland in my opinion are all better basketball teams than Cloudland. Being in the state tourney doesnt automatically mean that your one of the best 8 teams in the state. It means you have one of the best teams in your area. Making the state tourney is a great feat and an accomplishment that many teams never make. I give credit to any team that makes it to M'boro.

I agree a team that makes the state tournament has worked hard and beaten the teams necessary to advance. I never meant to disrespect the accomplishment of making the tournament. Each year there's good teams that don't make it. But its a fact there's certain districts in the state that are tougher than others and it changes from year to year. Case in point it wasnt that long ago that district 12 owned district 11. This season that was reversed. Its that way in all sports. There's teams that win districts that were they in another district they would finish mid pack.

      I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.

      No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.

      He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
