Thanks for the offer. Normally I would be doing color for Morristown East braodcasts on WCRK. Thankfully I will be able to get scores from here and from my play by play guy. I am still going to participate in our pre-game Pigskin picks show but with a disadvantage because I won't be able to see the teams play. I won the panel last year and if I don't this year the winner will be a Barry Bonds of sort with an * beside their title.

 

I hope to listen to the broadcasts on the web.

The folks here in Kingsport are thankful for the sacrifice that you and your comrades are making on our behalf. We love and support you and pray for God to bring you home safely. It really puts high school football into perspective for all of us.

Mo-Ron of the day!

 

 

Holly Cow---Did you call 03 Mo-Ron? That must be your favorite phrase for I thought you had given that distiction to SatchUmp. It's been several months since I have been on the board, and thank God, I'm glad. I thought I would get on to see what I could learn about the local area teams and who the upcoming talents were. I'm all about supporting our athletes and encouraging youth. I'm questioning whether I want to endure this sort of negative crap that I see from you and some of your cronies. Not all, but alot of your energy is spent crapping on someone and as soon as they take offense, oh, well, we might as well reserve 3-4 pages (or 8) for you and them to just keep pouring in on each other. If it wasn't such of a ridulous, childish proposition, I think I'd might like to see the meeting in the parking lot between you guys. At least all the rest of us wouldn't have to endure all this ridiculous wasted time having to wade thru all the garbage just to find something meaningful. And you know what---there is no doubt that you are going to reply to this with your full furry. But that's o.k., from what I've seen, it's to be expected that you will not learn anything from this. Seriously, do you think CoachT established this board for people to show their immaturity and ignorance. How old are you? No, don't answer it, for I wouldn't like the answer, regardless. If you are a child, then stop pretending to know about Football. If you are an adult, stop pretending to be a child.

Pls don't invite me to the parking lot. I've been in enough fights. Afterall, I don't have time to come to the parking lot, I'm spending all my time wading thru your crap. This is my last comment on this----but you go ahead, flail away.

Hello Mom, what are you doing on CoachT ? I cleaned up my room like you told me, took out the trash, washed the car, and cleaned out the dog pin.       OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.

      They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.

      The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.

      I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
