rappy
QUOTE(unc4life @ Apr 7 2007 - 04:07 PM) 826431941hope they choose a CB 1st then WR then DE Titans haven't too much success with first round WR. I agree with this analysis. The draft is deep with WR's. DE might be picked in the second round as well.
wingman10
All depends on Mr Pacman's situation
Gerry Bertier
Unless we trade for Turner, he won't be in a Titans uniform next year. The price tag is too high just to sign him to a deal. The Pacman situation should be addressed either at the end of the this week or the beginning of next. Worst case scenario in my opinion is he is suspended for 8 games. The cornerbacks in this draft aren't too impressive. I still say we go with a WR unless Moss from Florida falls to us. I hope Chow is smart and see that USC recievers don't translate too well to the pros and goes with Meachem or Bowe.
montague1
I don't think that the Titans are going WR in the first round. Jacoby Jones will be in Nashville tomorrow for a private work out with the Titans. I knew the Titans would be big on this kid, I posted it on a thread a long time ago, and I think he will be the first WR they draft. Probably round 3 because he is a sleeper to most teams, but maybe round 2.
rappy
Titans will go with DE to allow the corners to play cover two.

wingman10
Several mock drafts have Titans taking Meacham
Gerry Bertier
If the Titans want a solid DE and Jarvis Moss is still on the board they need to grab him quick. This kid could be the second coming of Jevon Kearse and would add some speed to a defensive front that will help the secondary in coverage. I hope we don't take the kid out of Lane. He has Tyrone Calico written all over him.

rappy
QUOTE(rapbwood @ Apr 23 2007 - 09:34 PM) 826443796Five days and counting. 1) DE 2) DB 3) WR I have changed my mind after looking at the best talent available. If I had the confidence in Jarvis Moss of Florida, he would be the Titans 1st round pick. I don't have confidence in Moss as 1st round pick for the Titans after reviewing Moss talent at DE. The DE talent looks weak for this year draft. I think a free agent would be better here. Therefore, I am going for best available talent with need base evaluation. This is my Titans picks in the first 5 rounds. WR Robert Meachem from Tennessee in the 1st Round (I don't think the Titans can go wrong with this guy, proven good hands receiver. CB Aaron Ross from Texas in 2nd Round (Excellent DB and Kick Returner) Note: Might not be available, I like this playmaker. DE Akaika Alama-Francis from Hawaii in the 3rd Round (This guy has a motor and could be a real surprise.) WR Steve Smith from USC in 4th Round RB DeShawn Wynn from Florida in the 4th Round DE Mkristo Bruce from Washington State in the 5th Round
ERA
Trade up, spend whatever bucks it takes to get Calvin Johnson!!!! He's a stud. They are saying he's the best wide receiver in the draft in the last 20 yrs. Our QB needs a playmaker really bad. If we don't get a great one, he will be running for his life the whole season and we know where that got a certain QB in Atlanta. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
