anyone have more details on the lavergne-wilson central game? Who controlled it? Lavergne just got done winning vs Wilson Central 3-0 at the end of the year... what was different?

After Aliyu went out in the second half, LaVergne lost its rhythm.

Wilson Central takes about 15 minutes to get a feel for the game, a stance that has cost them in the past and cost them last night.

Aliyu scored early to give them a 1-0 lead that they kept into the 2nd half.

In the 54th minute, Nathan Smith chipped the keeper on a ball that seemed was going to clear the post and sail out of bounds.

however, the ball dropped and bounced into the goal.

game tied 1-1.

LHS was playing hard the whole game, but it appeared that the overtime game they played the night before began to take its toll on them physically and mentally, as both sides were getting awfully chippy and rambunctious in the 2nd half and LaVergne lost a step.

Wilson Central just kept pushing LaVergne until they finally broke in the 80th minute when a shot was launched that ricocheted off a LaVergne defender.

Wilson Central was awarded a penalty kick

Dyna Roeum launched the ball into the lower left corner and after the goal was signaled, the game was called.

Did he get injured or carded, where has he been playing for Lavergne, up top or midfield?

And he got injured, looked like an ankle injury.

He was limping off the field Monday after the Mt. Juliet game.

I hate that LaVergne was defeated last night by Wilson Central. Congrats Central. But back to LaVergne, Im sure next year there will be a different approach to things. Next year they will have a LEADER whom is also talented and will lead by example in every aspect. The class of 08 will take LaVergne to the top of there ceiling. meaning they will go as far they are capable of going all good teams have talent but the great teams have talented leaders next year Lavergne has exactly that
