QUOTE(riverdaleman @ Apr 2 2007 - 02:17 AM) 826428027[/snapback]and people laughed when someone mentioned beech didnt they...looks like yall hada good and a good time congrats on another good tournament too bad my LADY WARRIORS couldnt put a few runs on the board

Sounds like a great tourny, this is first one we missed that I can remember. But we needed to heal. Beech in my opinion has the best 3-4 hitters in the state of Brooke and Colby. With the addition of Merrick Mt Juliet has the best hitters 1-9, and Hendersonville is always in postion to win every game. That district is going to be brutal. The riverdale tourny always separates the contenders from the pretenders.

Didnt see any pretenters at this tourny. All teams were strong. It could have been anybodys day.

Interestingly, this is where the "I told you so" part comes in, I think. Whoever said that Hendersonville was a favorite in the tournament must have been talkig to some serious softball people, NOT those who just favored this team.

You make a mistake anyway, when you slam a team that has just as respected a tradition as your favorite team --- Who knows? Maybe that fires them up a little.

I noticed that the "other" teams mentioned as strong teams did not make it to the semis.

Bad luck? I don't think so. Good ball by H'ville and H'town of Alabama!

Congrats to ALL the teams that did their best in the tournament!

I heard your daughter had a run of bad luck against another Alabama team. It happens.
