HSDAD
Brett ran on the Cross-Country team. If he ran cross country, he probably lost alot of weight! Running is good, but nothing will prepare you for a 6 min. match like wrestling for 6 minutes. Running (long distance) can also reduce your lean muscle mass as well as fat mass. Check Wrestlingperformance.com for info! I am sure that he will be lean, I would also focus on building his strength levels. He already knows how to wrestle! My oldest son ran Cross Country every year for Farragut. His senior year he finished the CC season at about 162lbs. He wrestled at 152 that final season. He was at 152 the second week of wrestling practice. Wrestling practice seperates the boy's form the men! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
rigger101
rigger...i heard that brett did not play football this year...is that true...??? is so...it's sort of a surprise because i heard he was really good in football as well... Yep, I understand he is a great RB and LB. He wouldn't be the first one I've seen stick to wrestling and give up football. Justin Knox was a heck of a football player and could have helped Farragut. The Commando's needed all the help they could get this year. Something tells me he will be on the field next year. I saw his Dad in the stands at the Gallatin/H'ville game last Friday!
