QUOTE(NSIndian @ Apr 4 2007 - 09:28 AM) 826429675[/snapback]How will they get 3 games when there are only 3 teams in the pool.

The winner of that pool's third game will be the semifinal, with the fourth being either the championship or the consolation. The other two teams will match up with a team from another pool to make a third game. Thus, everyone gets three games.

Liberty 0

Station Camp 0

Ended in a tie after 9 innings....both teams allowed the same amount of runs in the tournement so far. Decided by a coin toss, with Liberty winning.

Great game.....Shawn Selph pitched a gem. I think he gave up two hits. Also some awesome play by the defense.

Selph had a perfect game until 2 outs in the sixth inning. Gave up 1 hit 2 BB and hit a batter in 9 shutout innings. #27 (sorry don't know his name) pitched 7 scoreless for Station Camp, then a pretty good looking lefty pitched last 2. Liberty had 5 hits, but could not dent the scoreboard. Not an error in the game.

Excellent pitching, good defense and terribly inconsistent umpire on balls and strikes that had both sides moaning.

Super game by Shawn Selph.

Yeah....terrible calls. A bad call at the plate, a high tag on Matt Haynes with his feet across the plate. The ump agreed that he tagged him high....he saw it....that's why he didn't see his feet across the plate first. An strike 4.....omg!!!!

The guy must have been having a bad day.....he also got in Alex Marbury's face for kicking dirt on him.

I think it was pretty stupid how it came down to a coin toss, station camp scored a combined 22 runs in the first two games while liberty scored 10. This was definately a bad set up on how a tie breaker should be decided.
