lp12
The Farragut vs Bearden first annual alumni game is this saturday at 4pm at Farragut - tickets are $7 at the door and all money/donations raised will go toward a scholarship fund created in Brooke Culbreth's name. Brooke passed away last year and this game is to celebrate her life and her years of service to the boys soccer team. This should be an entertaining game and all of the money goes into her fund - coming out to watch would show tremendous support for Brooke's family, friends, and all of the players. ah20
This sounds like the start of what could be a great tradition for a great cause. Who all is playing? For either team, because each team has had their fair share of excellent players

They tied 3-3. The game got pretty intense at times, Farragut was up 2-0 at one point. I dont have a list of players but I know there was about 31 alumni for Farragut and only 12 from Bearden, and they had to borrow Matt Blair (Oak Ridge Alumni) and another Alumni from Catholic. Good game though

Mental16
The game was awesome and a great idea. Bearden had players like Elam in goal, Victor Upshaw, Tayloy Haney, Matt Blair, Todd Vincent, and some others i didn't know the name of but were good players..Farragut had a range of players, mostly from the 04-05 era. They also had Andrew Doyle, Jameson Rhiner, Michael Henson, Kyle Mottern, and Shaun Stinton (from a while ago) come back...it was an entertaining game and i was glad i could be apart of it....except for the fact that it felt like 36degrees outside and was raining the whole time...i hope next year has just as big...or a bigger turn out for both teams. lp12
Even though the conditions were miserable we all had a good time. I'm glad I could be a part of the game and look forward to next year! Hopefully the weather is better next time, as I'm pretty sure more people would have come out if it was sunny.
