Just curious if you played them this year or if this is your opinion based on previous years. We play them every year and they are better this year than they have been. Doesnt mean they will win but dont just dismiss them on past performances.

It really doesn't matter how much they've improved unless they have acquired 11 Brazilians because Hendersonville is still one of the top powerhouses in the state. Even if Wilson Central has improved, they have to get through Gallatin/Lavergne/Hendersonville in their district, and that just seems unlikely.

Best of luck, though. Just because they're better doesn't mean you can't give 'em heck.

Yeh but the thread was on one game not winning the district so whether they can get thru all those teams in a tourney is irrelevant. Just saying dont judge them by past years. In the past Brentwood has beaten Overton easily. This year they scored very late to get a tie. Just making sure everyone remembers last years team has no bearing on this years team. Good luck to both as we wouldnt meet either until Sectionals if we can make it that far so I have no real care either way.

first off, WCFan09, the word is "Thoughts", not "Thaughts".

2nd, Wilson Central is improved, but Hendersonville is a whole new test, just as an earlier poster said.

They are a state powerhouse.

Wilson Central is essentially a nobody in high school soccer.

That being said, both schools will have an opportunity to win, and the game appears to be a good match up on paper.

By the way, that "unless they have 11 Brazilians" remark was priceless.

I'm interested in this one. Personally I'm hoping for Hendersonville to win, because I believe that would make LaVergne first in district. I think? (given they beat Smyrna tonight).
