A-Rod

I am not a Yankee fan but am amazed so far at A Rod! He already has 10 homeruns in April. He will cool off but so far a great start to his season.

Now he has 14 home runs. He is playing as good as I have seen him. He is definetly reclaimed his position as the best hitter in baseball for now. Albert is sure to make his case before long. In the mean time we have to just sit back and admire A-rod. I can not stand him but I can not help but be impressed.

Saw today that they have calculated that if he stays on this pace, he will hit 146 homeruns and have 360 RBIs this season. It will never happen, but I do believe that would over shadow what Bonds is doing in San Fran.

Yanks are off today, so Albert keeps his name in record book with A Rod with 14 April homers. Also I think A Rod came up a little short on RBI recors for April.

 

A great month by A Rod and the Yankees are a mess--the guy can't catch a break (except when he goes to the bank).

Juan Gonzalez has the RBI record. I think it is at one more than A-rod at 34 for April.

Speaking of A-Rod`s big April...Back in April of 1961 Maris hit one home run the entire month.
