How good is Franklin???? I know that Hunters Lane is expecting a great season in '07.

Defensively Franklin is really good. Opposing offenses will struggle to go 80 yards on a consistent basis against them. I think they're still trying find themselves offensively. They ran the ball extremely well against Hunters Lane. Here is a video clip of sophomore RB Keylo Lee running the ball a few times in that scrimmage...

Keylo Lee Clip

Franklin rotates a few guys at RB so he probably won't get a ton of touches this year, but he looks like he might be a special player one day for the Rebels.

Enjoy! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

FYI... You'll need Windows Media Player installed to view the video clip.

Franklin looked pretty good last night they struggled alittle on offense with completing passes but when everything worked out they would get some good gains. Starters played prolly half of the game maybe alittle less. Running game looked really good, Keylo had another big TD from far out. Defense looked alittle shaky but Coach Webb made some adjustments and fixed it. Defense usually held MBA to under 15 yards at a time. Ive heard that there are 4 starters injured right now so when they get back that will help alot. I think the score ended up being 13-9 Franklin. MBA had 3 field goals and Franklin had 2 TDs with a blocked extra point

Northeast vs Gallatin Tommorow night the 17th at Gallatin come one come all.

howd the game go?

Gallatin won it 4-0 and the kicking scrimmage 3 FG's to 0... The starting unit was in for 3 series scoring on the second and third. The second unit scored on their first two possessions... GHS killed themselves late in the scrimmage with penalties or the score would have been greater..

the gallatin scrimmage with northeast. both teams showed promise, but northeast had to sit out starting QB for the game. Don't know why? Looked as if there was a Center to QB exchange problem for Northeast. Wish their starter was in the game. I hope to see you all in the playoffs. Thats if the Eagles can fix the mistakes from the Gallatin scrimmage.

heard the facilities were unbelievable at Gallatin. Good Luck.

    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
    • They do have good community support for sure and did when I coached under Z for 4 years. (I was on that staff that turned them around a little from winning 1 game a year to actually being competitive).  Great Kids and Great Community over there.  They have done some good things with the facilities from when i coached too.
    • I personally will not mind that one bit.  It seems like a really strange fit to me from the git go.
