yeah and if you remember MC was just that in 1990 and look what they done. . . went to nashville and beat a very good MUS team. . . . so you may be a 7 win team but its all about heart and pride

billy bob sorry to correct u but it was actually brentwood academy they was ranked nationally so they werent just very good they was awesome

I remember that game. A Living Legend, Coach Carlton Flatt was so upset after the loss that they left the Silver trophy on the field. Brentwood Academy also had several future University of Tennessee legends playing on that team.

Actually I believe Billy bob is right. The Warriors were 7-3 in 90 and region runner up but played lights out football throughout the playoffs and rolled to the championship defeating MUS. They defeated Brentwood Academy in 92 for the title, Humbolt and Portland in 94,95(can't remember the order). 90 may have been the best team but those guys played a tough schedule with McCallie and others.

NO sorry to correct you brentwood was 92 not 90. . . we beat mus 28-7 i do believe then beat brentwood 28-26 and if you would like to know the head line of the paper was. . . .LIKE LAMBS TO SLOTER. . . .
