My guess would be the fact that GPS has owned SD recently. For example, GPS has won the SD tournament the last two years, and if you count the rain out from the beginning of the season that GPS was leading 4-0, they've beaten SD the last three times they've played them...just my guess though

Look to hickman county for all state selections!!

One of the best defensive players i have ever seen plays

at hickman high. I live in hendersonville but the shortstop for hickman county is the best defensive player ive ever seen. It is a small town school but has talent.

All the 2007 TSWA All-State Teams (Baseball, Softball and Boys' Soccer) will be released in late July, following the annual TSWA convention where the final selections are made based on nominations from coaches and members of the organization.

Soddy-Daisy had three counting the player of the year, GPS had four, they might have tried to balance that out since Waters was POY. I saw all but one play this year and there's only one out of the 13 on the first team I'd maybe replace, not because of her ability because she's a Division I college player, but because of a very low competition level she faced this year, and her lack of team success and because there was some question on if the numbers were being inflated-going to second on wild pitches and passed balls being called stolen bases, errors being called hits, etc. They can only go by what's given to them, though, so you can't really fault the paper. District champ Chattanooga Christian had no first teamers, but I don't think they'd have had as good numbers if they'd played regular season tournaments.

Just so we can keep it real!!! My daughter plays for GPS! Please look at our strength schedule ! We do play competitive teams thoughout the year! Don't Hate! And I am sure if we could get more people to play us we would play them all!! We played MT Juliet, Soddy, Ooletwah, Hixson and Trinty Christain.....The list goes on!!!!!!

Who else do you want us to play??? We don't own anybody though!! Any team can win at anytime!!

But we're not talking about 5 or 6 years ago, I thought we were talking about the best this year. Gps beat Mt.Juliet 6-0 this year as well, so I guess they probably would have won AAA too. I think everyone knows D1 is tougher, but that is irrelevant here, GPS was better than SD this year, end of story. Did you even go to the games between them?
