Agreed. Folks need to listen to Pujo. He aint got no dog in this fight and is purely objective on this call.

 

Actually ,I do like and pull for Coalfield in region 2. Alot of respect for the coaches ,the fans are great. But thats not the reason I picked them to win the region.They have several very good players back and they always work hard. They have a solid program.

Coalfield takes championship for third straight year. Coming in a close 2nd are the boys south of the river. Then Oneida and greenback battle it out for 3rd and 4th.

Man pujo, you sure blew that statement for me. Here I thought you were actually being objective and you were just pulling for your region 2 team. I'll pick Hampton up East for the same reasons. Besides we need a chance to even the series down here with you folks..

1. Midway- Best skill position players South of the River in recent memory plus all but seven players returning gives them the slight edge over Coalfield.

2. Coalfield- Has an uphill climb compared to past two years but a three-peat is definitely still a good possibility.

3. Harriman- Heavy graduation losses will take their toll but have the athletes there to be a playoff team.

4. Greenback- Still a year away from making a huge impact again, but with a dangerous offense, this could be a team to watch.

5. Oneida- Could be a playoff team if offensive woes can be solved. Definitely not a team to take lightly.

6. Sunbright- Breaking in a new coach plus serious graduation losses equal a rebuilding year in Tiger Town.

7. Oakdale- Numbers are up at Oakdale and enthusiasm at an all-time high, but still a couple years away from being a factor in the region.

I sure wouldn't bet against them, I'm sure they will regroup. I do think you guys have a pretty good shot. Things will clear up after a couple of weeks. The Rockwood , Midway game will tell us alot.
