Duckman

If there is anything me or mine can do while your down let me know. As far as round 2 if FA runs up the middle that plays directly to our defensive strengths. I thought game in round 1 was never in doubt but we need to play a whole ballgame, not just a good second half. Defensive secondary made some mistakes Friday hopefully they will learn from them. All in all a decent effort from the REBS, but now is time to be playing are best ball.

GO REBELS

Thanks Chip, I'll keep it in mind but, for now things seem to be going pretty well considering. Felt some better today except when I cough and that's kinda like gettin' shot!!

Butchie, thanks to you and Mrs. Butchie and the bowl of "stoup" and cornbread, I got well tonight and enough left for a couple more days!!!! Thanks ya'll!!!

Chip, I agree with you 100%. Now is when we need to be playing entire games--all 4 quarters!! We are good enough to do it and now is the time that nothing else is acceptable or productive. If we've got 4 more Trenton games left in us we're there.

I have been hearing alot about this team. Were they good when they were in the larger divisions?

Mckenzie was a yearly playoff team in AA with two semi final appearances since 2000 in AA. So, I guess the answer is "not too shabby".

We are a smaller school now but as the old saying goes, "tradition doesn't graduate". We don't have as many kids to choose from but, the kids are out there and paying the price to be successful. We'll know the answer in a few short weeks!!!

I don't think he's all that close really. A lot of posters on here try to follow certain classes and teams each year and find out as much as they can about them to get an idea of what the playoffs might look like. I pretty much think The Legend falls into that category as I've gotten to know him this season. He asks striaght questions and I try to give straight answers where McKenzie is concerned.

Nothing wrong with that, McKenzie still has something to prove to the rest of the state. This is our best ever year to do it!!! We don't have any suprestars, we've got a team full of stars. Not a lot of mention of Mr. Football candidates either but, that's just a title for one individual. We probably have some deserving but, we believe in spreading the wealth around. We're not about individual stars. We're about being the best class A team in Tennessee!!

Some people talk alot about the rebels and don't give them any respect. I know most of the player's at McKenzie and they are working harder than any in the past. My son played for McKenzie with Drew and I don't belive they worked as hard. These young men want a BIG STATE RING on their hands. GO REBEL'S never give up!!!!

    • Alas, your inquiry persists without resolution. Within the intricate tapestry of criteria delineated, the identification of a singular candidate who effortlessly encapsulates the synthesis of essential attributes proves to be a formidable task. It must be noted that the mere apprenticeship under a revered mentor does not inevitably confer suitability for the esteemed role within the Trousdale County coaching hierarchy. Indeed, compatibility transcends mere proximity, necessitating a profound alignment of values, principles, and competencies to ensure a harmonious union with the esteemed responsibilities inherent to this distinguished position.
    • Well, its that time of year again.  I really enjoy the summer camps.  This year, we will be hosting a play date on the 4th which will include Hampton, Unaka, and johnson county.  I think hampton is hosting one on the 5th.  5 freshmen will join the lady landers this year.  We will have 2 seniors, 8 juniors, and 3 sophomores.  Gonna be a new look for us this year.  This group is pretty dang good.  Unaka will be the new favorite in R1a.  They got a really good transfer who has an NIL deal.  And NG has most of their starters back.
    • Gotta take care of business in the village of Eagles first! But you will pass though the Boro on the way.
