Hey croz, why have there been more posts from Smith Co. and G-Ville people than there have been from the two teams playing?

For one, I only know of a couple of Dekalb Co. posters on CoachT.

I have watched Dekalb County's players since Jr. Pro and middle school.

My stepson's used to go to school there, and they have cousins on the team.

Also Warren Co fans may be looking at the 5A threads.

Only one comment on the 5A thread. I coached several of the Warren Co. kids in Jr. Pro football so I hope they do well this year. I'll have to watch it on replay because I'm either going to watch SCHS or the G-ville game. It's gonna depend on whether I "get sick" at work and get to leave early Friday. ssshhh!

This game is going to tell folks a lot about what DeKalb Co. has in Region 4-3A this year. DeKalb's Tigers have looked sharp in a scrimmage against FRA and in their jamboree game against White Co. Corey Cripps is a player who would be an All-State caliber prospect if he played on a successful team. He is a good runner and possibly the best linebacker in the region. If Hunter Poteete can direct the offense with some success this year as the team's quarterback and get some help from guys like Colin Patterson then DeKalb Co. wins this game. A win in this one may lead to some later success for the Tigers in the season.

No way Dekalb wins. You should find another way to measure

their improvement. Again, no way Smithville wins this game.

Warren County is better than you think they are.

Well Warren Co. was a playoff team last year (THIS IS VERY UNUSUAL) and DeKalb Co. was terrible. The Tigers are going to be improved this year while Warren Co. is a 5A school that really can't get much better. In fact, the Pioneers will miss the playoffs (playoff teams will be LC, Cookeville, FC, & CC).

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
