Wilson Central Tournament 9/14-9/15

I didn't get to watch many matches other than the WC ones but I can tell you that White House only won one match all weekend -- against eventual Champ, Lebanon.

 

Now, before you get too excited about this win, you should know that Lebanon lost 2 matches all weekend -- to White House and Macon County -- Lebanon's Coach Harmon had benched 3 of her starters (including hitter, Icelyn Ellie who was serving rockets all weekends) for disciplinary infractions and they didn't play Friday night at all. Once Lebanon was at full strength, they played strong for the rest of the weekend.

 

Maybe it was just a bad weekend for your team but they did have a rough going and the competition was tough. Good luck this week as you resume district play.

Thanks for your reports, play4keeps, as I know how hard it can be getting game scores or even match scores. It's dedicated people like yourself who go the extra mile to inform everybody here about their tournaments. I hope you got to rest on Sunday as I know you worked hard all weekend and before that the previous week trying to get the schedules up. Now all you have to do is add all the matches to the teams' schedules - just kidding. Thanks again.
