Well thats where i would have them too, but of course rankings mean nothing. FCS wants to be there at the end of the year, the regular season rankings don't do much more than flatter a team. Jo Byrns can have it, didn't do them any good at the end of last season.

 

 

You're right it didn't do them any good at the end of last season. As you know, all it does is put a big bullseye on your back. With the region JB plays in and being this early in the season I think being ranked #1 is a good thing. Everybody wants to beat the #1 team (regardless of whether they are or not) so I'm expecting every team they play to have extra motivation going up against them. This can only help JB come playoff time. It may be hogwash but I'll take it any day. Most of the people voting on this don't have a keen sense of who's the best. It's mostly based on hearsay and past results. So with JB being ranked #1 it's probably a testament to them have quality teams the past couple of years. So congrats JB; not so much on the ranking but on the past couple of years. But JB does have another great team this year. It'll all come out in the wash...

Well I dont care about ranking's it does nothing for a team.. except get u ready for a letdown.. I gree with MO$$ 100% BUT.. I agree with ZP also... Rank us #1 at the end of the year when it realy means something.... UNTIL then Rock on Pirates!! Take no mercy!!!

yea the rankings looks good but @ the end mTp will be @ the top. I'm glad to see we are getting a little respect.
