Congradulations to the Midnight Mouse Catchers they put it on my beloved Yeller Jackets last night. You all have a exceptional team and are well coached. Thanks also for not making it any worse on a young team than it was that showed a lot of class you fellers are alright. We are going home to soak in the ole Creekbank water and lick our wounds we had a rough night. Good luck the rest of the way

So what is the problem in Trousdale?

There is not a problem Lad Man. They are a good football team, just not the great dominating football team that they are most years. Schools go through rebuilding years all the time. This may be the first I can remember for TC, which is unheard of for that small of a school.

The Jackets are off this year to begin with their starting QB JohnScruggs was lost for the year before the season ever started with elbow injury and surgey the backup was injuried last year as a freshman and also still has'nt fully recovered they a playing a 3rd string qb who is inexperianced, but trying to adjust along with 2 freshmen starting db,s. Only 2 starting sr.s on both sides of the lines, starting a freshman rb an jr. fb who is also injured.Over all very young due to graduation just a down year overall.I agree very unusual for TC, but the future looks brighter 15 jr.s returning along with16 sophs.next year. Oh yeah I almost forgot there is another Harper or two rb,s moving up from jr. high within the next few years so hold on to your hats. The Jackets will most certainly take a lot of lumps this year. Hopfully they will get throught the season without many injuries and get better along with gaining experiance this year. There's a old saying what don't kill you will make you stronger maybe that applies to the young Jackets.

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
