USJ.....46 games

I don't think that 46 games is too much. I look at it this way, Once a team starts playing games, the players would much rather be playing than practicing. Once games start, it is hard for kids to be interested in practice. Also, the more games played, the more playing time that is available for everyone on the team. Also, if 46 games were too much, USJ would not be sitting at the top right now!

In the post season USJ played 9 games, they won their last game to become state champions. In the post season you keep winning you keep playing, keep this in mind when you look at a teams overall record. 46 total games played with 9 of those being post season play. I'm sure when they (USJ) put those big state championship rings on not one player complains about the number of games they played. They are proud to say we won the last one...We are defending State Champions.

Lexington played 45 games....Hummm must be some kind of trend here. The number of games they played has nothing to do with the fact that either of these teams are the 2002 State Champions in their divisions. What does have an effect though, is the competition level that each team played in those 45-46 games. The Coaches put together good schedules, and the boys went out and did the job.
