Sorry to disagree but what I saw up until half time looked like Macon County was VERY, VERY young and inexperienced. White House took advantage of every mistake that MC made which was mostly interceptions. It's gonna be a long season for Macon if they don't put some plan together, and White House is not going to have it as easy as Springfield and Macon from here on out.

I did notice that the Payne boys have put on a little weight since last year, 68 and 69 are LARGE. Congrats to White House on the win.

Hey it is ok cause I really don't know what to say myself. I saw some of them out there that was really trying and only a few can not carry the entire team on their backs.

I WISH YALL WOULD TALK FOOTBALL INSTEAD OF ALL THIS OTHER MESS THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE MACON / WHITE HOUSE GAME AND I THINK THE TIGERS WILL PUT WHITE HOUSE TO SHAME ON THIER OWN HOMECOMING AND FOR YOU TIGERS OUT THERE THAT ARE READING THIS MAKE SOMETHING HAPPEN AND GIVE THE PEOPLE OF LAFAYETTE SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF. GO TIGERS

IT WAS BAD....IT WAS ONE OF THOSE GAMES WERE WE WERE OUTPLAYED PLUS EVERYTHING WENT WRONG FOR US......IF I WAS FROM ONE OF TWO OF OUR NEIGHBOR COUNTIES I'D COMPLAIN ABOUT THE OFFICIALS....(WE HAD A TRIPPING PENALY FOR GOODNESS SAKES..ON A 3O TO 40 YARD RETURN...AND WE HAD AN INELIGABLE (CAN'T SPELL) MAN DOWNFIELD ON A HOT PASS.(1ST PLAY OF THE GAME WENT FOR 25 YARDS)...BUT I WON'T GO THERE....I FELT BAD FOR OUR BOYS....AT ONE POINT I JUST KINDA WANTED TO TELL THEM TO HUNKER DOWN AND SAVE THE EQUIPMENT FOR NEXT YEAR.....

why is everyone always talkin about parker. He's not any better than neal, the paynes or dixon.

All are great players. But Parker will lay you out. He probably averages 30 yds per catch on offense. Not to mention his toughness playing with what hes playing with. Every player we're talking about is either a soph or junior. Neals a super reciever and also has 4 or 5 ints. Dixon is a tough runner, and Payne reminds me a little of Ricky with his quick cuts. I personally think alot of all those players, but i really think the "PLAYMAKER" should be getting some D1 looks from somebody because of his size, strength, hands , toughness, and love of the game.

    • Could be wrong just too small of a town for word to be spread.  AC didn’t get a reward school achievement and Clinton did. My guess is that started it

    • When she starts farting around with the football team the powers in Maryville will run her out of town on a rail and everyone connected with letting her in the door. You saw what happened when Alcoa's radio announcer thought he was coming to Maryville, the people rose up and stopped it.
    • 20 but had 5-6 not dressed every game. It went down towards the end due to injuries and obviously only 15 got to dress for the state tournament. Then, they only lost 2 from this year and gain 8 from the middle school for next year
    • As somebody mentioned before, this is going to result in a massive lawsuit, can you imagine professional "educators" actually having the conversation about getting "the bad kids" out of the high school?  And the head coach asking directly to change grades, gets turned down, comes back again and gets it approved?  This is unbelievable.  In addition to the lawsuit, the state Department of Education is going to come down extremely hard on this.  WYSH is on the war path.  There could be dozens more lose their jobs by the time this is over.  And yeah the real shame is the kids being affected that literally had nothing to do with this and actually worked hard to earn their grades.
