I am a Goodpasture fan. How good is CPA this year? I know they have had some tough losses early, but that is because of tough competition. Are they as good as last years team, who was definatly the third best 2a team in the state last year?

 

 

Offense is pretty much the same as last year, most returned.

Defense is where we lost some folks and are hurt by a lot of injuries this year. Give us a couple of weeks and we should be firing on both cylinders.

Good luck to the Cougars, we look forward to our meeting up towards the end of the year.

I hear that CPA looks pretty good, but that the guys up in the booth are struggling.

My game was a little off after sitting out last week.

 

HOWEVER, I did arrive well before kickoff unlike FBGIRL. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

 

It was all those steps up all those hills getting to the field. I made it on time and loved the mercy rule. Was able to get home to see the 4th qtr of the CSS game of the week.

      One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.

      If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.

      I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
