Bolded for emphasis, because an over achieving JCHS defense shut him down in the 2002. Glory Days.

I have no idea why he is not listed but it was 409 and willy blount kid(Fickerd) had 375. I was there to witness both RB's !!!

JCHS 24

D-B 7

The 7 points were scored when DB blocked a punt and ran it in.

So the defense still has not given up a point.

Tide may be turning huh? 1 or 2 more clases close to this and its back to the business of making deep runs in the playoffs like we use to. Might have to check one of the freshman games out, btw do they have any playmakers at WR and QB we can look forward to seeing?

Of all the positions on the field that worries me the most after this year is QB, as far as someone having a good enough arm to throw the deep ball. If we can keep the freshman class together for the most part, some this years sophomores and juniors may find themselves not starting. This freshman class is overall harder hitters than what is on the varsity. # 27 and # 80 come to mind on defense. So if this years Soph. and juniors want to keep their jobs they better improve a lot before next season.
