Taylor Bradford, a former Antioch football player and current Univ. of Memphis player was shot and killed on the campus yesterday evening. Keep his family in your prayers.

What a shame. God bless his family through this. Just took my son and another boy up there on a invite. We stood on the sidelines during warm ups. Remember looking at his name on his jersey. They played Jacksonville State OVC team took them apart. What is the world coming too. Memphis scares me for mine now. God Bless the Bradford family and Tigers. Find the ###### and shoot him. What a waste of good life.

His family was in town for tomorrow night's game already...I just can't imagine what this must be like for them...

Sad as it is, this stuff happens everywhere -- an Ole Miss athlete was murdered this weekend also, but you don't hear Oxford mentioned as a dangerous place.

Just goes to show, you have to be vigilant anywhere and everywhere.

You know i always tell mine never be cocky out there. Not saying this at all was the case. You know athletes draw attention with just they way the look. Lots of jealous wanna be's and sick minds do not care about life. I hope they catch them quick and hang em high.

    • West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.
    • I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.
    • I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!
    • Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
    • Looks like Trent Noah was released from his NLI at South Carolina with intent to pursue playing closer to home. Kentucky and Louisville both reported to be in the mix for him now.
