There is a way to show some class, You would not have liked it on your field in Kingston springs either, it is a respect thing, they could of shaked hands on a good win and then celebrated, to not shake your opponents hands after any match is disrespect.......it wont be forgotten. /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":huh:" border="0" alt="huh.gif" /> You have me mistaken with someone else. I didn't say Harpeth would win out. I didn't even say that Harpeth's JV would whup East's super sophomores 26-0 last Monday. I took a higher road as I recall.

 

My point is that it's all hunky dorey for a new football program like East to go through some growing pains and experience a losing season. It's expected even. When a proud program like Loretto that has had a lot of success historically and is experiencing some tough times, the pill is even more bitter to swallow. I'm just congratulating them on getting their win this season. I've been in those shoes for the last 3 and I know what it feels like. If the kids take out some of their frustration by jumping up and down on the grass, I'm not going to be the one that calls them classless. They should, however, shake hands win or lose. My kid would anyway.

 

'Class' is a two way street in these affairs eaglepride and it doesn't stop at the players and coaching staff.

I think he meant that loretto tarnished thier only win by making a low class move by doing what they did. It was classless, I was there too, but those folks know not what they do..... East will not forget that little stunt.

 

 

 

Coach Jones has to adjust to this first year of running the football program, many of the players who quit due to Injuries that this program failed to recognize, talent that this program should have redirected or been able to identify, and yes even players with simply the wrong attitude. The players with injuries lost respect to Coach Jones because he took too long to adjust to this program and its first year, he also lost respect with players put in positions that they were not suited for, the other players were rightly released. Any Coach should require respect and build a good program, but be correct it watching the injury list (have a list!!), be correct when a player is not suited for a position (not every player is a receiver). Not against Coach Jones!!!! He has a good deal of work to do, Good Luck coach Jones!!!!!
